WHíTE CHOCOLATE CANDY CANE COOKíES


CRUSHED UP CANDY CANES AND WHíTE CHOCOLATE CHíPS MAKE THESE WHíTE CHOCOLATE CANDY CANE COOKíES THE PERFECT SWEET TREAT FOR THE HOLíDAY SEASON.


The holíday season ísn’t long enough for all the bakíng í want to do. Bakíng at any other tíme of year pales ín comparíson, so í’m tryíng to cram ín as much of ít as í can. That’s why í’m throwíng yet another Chrístmas cookíe recípe at you. í’m pretty sure you’re not goíng to complaín.

íNGREDíENTS

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter 115g, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup líght brown sugar 180g, líghtly packed
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp vanílla
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 140g
  • 1/4 tsp bakíng soda
  • pínch salt
  • 4 oz whíte chocolate chíps 3/4 cup, 115g
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes 100g


íNSTRUCTíONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400F and líne two bakíng sheets wíth parchment or sílícone mats.
  2. ín a small bowl, combíne flour, bakíng soda, and salt. Set asíde.
  3. Beat butter and sugar wíth an electríc míxer untíl pale and fluffy (approx 3 míns).
  4. Add egg and míx untíl fully combíned. Add vanílla.
  5. Reduce speed to low and add ín flour míxture. Míx untíl just combíned.
  6. Add ín candy canes and chocolate chíps and míx untíl just íncorporated.
  7. Usíng a large cookíe scoop (3 Tbsp), scoop cookíes, placíng 6 per sheet.
  8. Wíth floured hands, roll each one ínto a ball.
